Minutes, Tree City Quilt Guild - meeting Feb.8, 2010
The meeting was brought to order by Vice Pres, Mabel Stocker. Welcome to all members and 1 guest. She thanked the refreshment committee of Effie, Danette and Ruth. As usual the refreshments were delicious.
Sunshine report- Fronnie Holliday is ill; happy birthday to all Feb. girls.
Minutes of the Jan meeting were approved as written.
Treasurer's report - $3,507.49. The books were audited and found to be in order.
Stash attack - projects were shown by several members.
Jeri Fickes won the "gift".
Next meeting - Cathedral Windows - bring 4-5 9" squares,
2 1/2" print - 1 for each 9" sq., thread, needle, scissors
Gwen Hoover has a new email address - gwenhoover38@yahoo.com.
Workshops and trips - Nancy Danby sent around sign up sheets for them.
Quilt Show - The proceeds of the show will be divided between Ida Sue and Bridges of Hope, which was voted on by the membership.
Mystery Quilt -Step 2 was handed out.
Program was given by Barry Jolliff on "Shaneel Scarves". He had out a worksheet on how to do them and several people brought fabric to start a scarf.
Show and Tell was the end of the meeting.
