Mystery Quilt 2010 Step 3 and Step 4

STEP 3

Arrange your nine patch blocks into rows 3 by 4. Next make yourself some snowballs like this: Using your 6 1/2 inch background squares sew a 2 1/2 inch accent fabric square to each corner. Use 2 squares of one fabric on one side (left side, top and bottom) and 2 squares of a second fabric on the other (right side, top and bottom). Make 17 whole snowball blocks.
Make 14 half snowball blocks. Sew two of the same 2 1/2 inch accent fabric squares to the
rectangles.

Okay that is it until next month. You are looking great and doing fine!!!

Step 4

Sew the center of the quilt together by making horizontal rows.
Press all of the seam allowances away from the Snowball and Half Snowball blocks.
Sew the rows together. Press the seam allowance away from the nine patch rows.
A diagram is available by email. Contact nuzum@sssnet.com for the diagram.

See you next month for your next step.
