   President's November Greeting

NOVEMBER,  Already!!   There is a chill in the air, the leaves are turning and Mother Nature is showing off her beautiful fall wardrobe!  I am reminded to get those winter projects lined up for the approaching cold weather when I am just happy to stay inside and sew.

I will be collecting the token bags, final call.  Get a label from me, put your name on it, put it in the bag with the tokens and close it with a knot.

This is the time of the year when new committees are set up so please consider serving on a committee.  It takes all of us to make this guild successful.

As Thanksgiving approaches, we are reminded to give thanks for all our blessings.  I am blessed to be part of this wonderful guild.  I hope that you feel blessed to be a part of it, too.

Happy Quilting,   Kay

Let me know if you have difficulty downloading the minutes.  Thanks, Mary, for your detailed minutes.  Ruth.

Some highlights from the October minutes are:  at the November meeting we will be sharing quick Christmas gift ideas; voting on 2019 officers; voting for Quilter of Year for 2018; and opportunity to turn in blocks and remember to bring your token bag.  Also dues can be paid for 2019.

I really enjoyed the October program by Mrs. A.  Learned so much about pincushions and felt blessed by her love for us all.
