July Newsletter
















































































The Purpose of this organization shall be to create, stimulate and maintain an interest in all matters pertaining to the making of quilts; and to establish and promote educational endeavors through quilts.

                                      PICNIC TIME!

July is here and it is picnic time!  The picnic is always a fun time and good food.  Bring a dish to share and enjoy time getting to know the members of your guild.

TIME:         6:00 p.m.

Bring a covered dish to share, your beverage of choice, 2- 2 1/2" wof strips, smiles and laughter! 
     No business!
     No show and tell!
     No collection of squares!

Just good food, fun and fellowship!  Hope to see you there!

Guild Picnic:  this year’s challenge is Garden Party – use anything associated with garden (fruit, veg, garden tool fabric. Garden apron projects….)   

 The June minutes are attached above as a pdf.  Let me know if unable to download.

Made Fabric:  Thanks to those who have worked their scraps into made fabric.  In upcoming meetings, we’ll look at making “made fabric” into a project, so don’t stop piecing!

The Monthly Ongoing Hand Workers will meet on the first Friday of each month from 9:00 to 11:50 at Parkview Christian Church, in the Fireside Room.  Meeting dates for 2018: Jan 5, 
Feb. 2, March 2, April 6, May 4, June 1 July 6, Aug. 3, Sept 7, Oct. 5, Nov. 2,and Dec 7.  (These dates are subject to change)  Join us and bring your handwork of any kind (no sewing machines) a small snack to share, and show and tell.  Guests are always welcome.  Contact Sally Kitchen at 330-345-5702 with any questions.
