Minutes of March 8, 2010
Laura Nolletti, President, opened the meeting with a welcome to everyone and thanks to the refreshment committee - Nancy, Cassie and Peggy.
Janet McFarlin showed 2 quilts made with homespun fabrics that were donated by another member. These will be sent to the Linus group.
Jeri Fickes, Sunshine, report Helen Iannelli is at Glendora. Lola Franks thanked everyone for all the cards, emails and the quilt that was made for her. She is coming along great.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as presented.
Bonnie, Treasurer, reported a balance of $3,286.71.
Old Business and New Business - None
Laura reminded the guild ladies of the block swop in June.
The 3rd and 4th mystery quilt instructions were handed out.
Nancy D. sent around the sign up sheets for trips and workshops.
Amish County Quilt Show - TCQG will have a booth to promote our show and sell raffle tickets.
The May meeting will be Helping Hands - What's New in fabric and gadgets.
The guild was asked to think about making the 1st girl and boy quilts for 2011.
Sally reported on the Quilt Show. Linda Miller will judge our quilts on 8/12. Mabel handed out raffle tickets.
Next meeting will be Mary Lou Nuzum on "thread embellishments"
Stash attack items were shown, then Show and Tell.
The Program was Lou Ella Imhoff on "Cathedral Windows" The guild girls had the opportunity to make some by hand. Mabel showed how to make the same on the machine.
