I just received a letter and some flyers from NEORQC with information about the 2020 NEORQC Getaway for February 14-16, 2020 in Boardman, Ohio. The Getaway is called "Quilting is My Super Power", and Laura Nolletti is one of the instructors. Registration begins August 1, 2019. Do you think we should send a separate announcement, or include it in the next newsletter? I have brochures to take to the next meeting. The Monthly Ongoing Hand Workers will meet on the first Friday of each month from 9:00 to 11:50 at Parkview Christian Church, in the Fireside Room. Our September meeting held under the portico at the church. Unfortunately the church was locked and we were unable to get in. All gathered chairs from their cars and had a complete meeting including Show and Tell. We enjoyed a pleasant breeze. Kay presided as Kim was expected to be in Florida but thanks to Dorian that did not happen. Kim said a tearful goodbye to us and we can expect her at our Quilt Show in 2020. You will be missed Kim.
