The Purpose of this organization shall be to create, stimulate and maintain an interest in all matters pertaining to the making of quilts; and to establish and promote educational endeavors through quilts.

Please note change of both time and place.

Hard to believe that it is June already, 2019 is flying by so fast. I have been super busy getting ready for our big move to Florida. Packing Donating, cleaning and house hunting. I am sad to say I will not be at the meeting this month. My husband planned a house hunting/birthday trip for me to Florida and again the dates conflict with the meeting. Marilyn will be leading you though and I am sure she will do a great job.

I haven’t gotten much sewing done lately with everything else going on but hope to get to some soon. I am sad that I won’t be participating in next years quilt show, but I do plan on taking a trip to come and see the show! I am sure it will again be a great one.

Reminder for June picnic.  Bring your own beverage, a covered dish and 3 fat quarters for games.  Challenge is bugs and butterflies.

Following, from Mary Mahoney on show committee, about entering items from the various classes offered by the Tree City. Quilt Guild
It's a good idea to keep a list of the quilts you would like to submit for our 2020 quilt show.  Please note as well, if that quilt was made from a workshop you took with our guild.  We do have a category for workshop quilts and we'd like to keep them together at the show.  Here is a list of the 2018 workshops to help you remember what might qualify in this category:

Pat Hall's Rug class
Kay Nixon's Fabric bowl workshop
Laura Noletti's Convex Illusion class
Stacie Miller's Market Bag & Mary Mahoney's No Sew Gift Bag class
Laura Noletti's Paper Pieced Animal pattern workshop
Shirley Roger's 5 yard quilt
